Taproot Quest Broken

The trash compactor hopper in the witch's basement does not accept the dead bush. I tried across multiple servers and had no luck. Then I disconnected and lost the dead bush. I'd like to fix this quest so i can get it done. Any help is appreciated.

 

I don't think that you actually have to throw the dead bush into the hopper. Just pressing the button for the trash composer should be fine.

 

actually i think u just need to press the trash composer and the trail should appear (u could hear the sound of a trail) to the cave so I dont think its bugged

 

I press it and just hear a *ding* noise on a loop and no trail.

EDIT: I see the trail until it gets to the door, then it vanishes. Particles are set to "all."

 

The Wynncraft Wiki says that the trail leads you to -1328 83 -5613, so try going there. Unfortunatly, I can't check the coordinates and the way there myself right now.

 

actually I think ur supposed to follow the trail the trail doesnt just go to the door it leads u to the cave try watching a walkthrough of the quest in yt and while u press the button just go to the cave immediately
