"BROCCOLI BROCCOLI BROCCOLI BROCCOLI" there, I hope you're happy. Seriously, I was going to make a long-winded shitpost but I go on a walk and suddenly the Wynncraft Twitter is posting " " and I have like 20 pings on discord screaming about Brassica-shaped weaponry. I feel like I'm late to my own birthday party but the party is a meme and the meme is dead and there's no cake, just BROCCOLI BROCCOLI BROCCOLI BROCCOLI.
I know I sound like i'm complaining but this is actually awesome, thanks everyone.

Anyways, I wanted to get some feedback on the models that've been pushed out, as well as some suggestions on how to tackle future cosmetics.

Here's some of the questions I had:

There's good reasons to use both methods, but thought I'd ask since they're about the same in terms of difficulty to make.

Also, I wanted to ask about whether I should make a Modeling Tutorial or spend my time elsewhere; I've seen a lot of people starting to get into modeling, and this is great, but sadly there's not many good modeling tutorials for cubik/blockbench on youtube as far as I can see.

That's all, just some questions; all feedback would be great, would love to know what I should fix/improve for the next time I make skins. Also post your favorite skin down below!

Honestly i don't see a reason for a modeling tutorial since it's really easy to figure out everything but if you want to share your broccoli blessing with others then sure.

also, after broccoli i love the steampunk, imo it's the best one in the steampunk set, especially because its the one that actually looks steampunk more than the others do.

also I got three of the new reliks; steampunk, dern, and futuristic. dern and steampunk are really nice look...but futuristic HOLY CRAP IT LOOKS SO DAMN GOOD

I'm probably in the minority here, but I've personally always liked Cubik models a bit more. Blockbench ones are still cool though and I definitely don't mind having them, hence why I voted for both. But I feel like naturally, Cubik models fit Wynncraft's pixelated world better, whereas Blockbench models feel more realistic and a bit out of place.

Haven't gotten any of the new cosmetics myself yet, but the ones shown in the announcement screenshot look great.

How the hell have none of you mentioned the Broccomace from Hypixel's Warlords?

 

If kio made that I would be incredibly dissapointed as it looks the worst out of all of the legendaries

 

the blockbench model you posted as an example actually made me consider opening my cosmetic chests again lol
much better prefer them over the voxel models, which generally feel like an eyesore to me with all the edges and shit while the blockbench ones are smooth and nice

 

IMO Blockbench modes fit Wynn’s world better cuz it looks a lot closer to the armor stand models that we’ve gotten, and they generally are much cleaner
