Help-early Game Mage Build

I have recently just switched from a lvl 42 warrior to mage to try out the different game play styles, iv'e just recently created a new mage profile and I am lvl 20 and was wondering if anyone can give me pointers/suggestions on what armour/accessories I should use for a decent early game mage build as I progress though the game. Thank you.

 

I mean youre gonna level up pretty fast so you shouldn't focus on builds too much, but spec in intel I guess and mana regen stuffs I think.

 

The best early mage build is one which lets you use heal a lot, so when you get armor with Mana regen, use it. Otherwise, do all the quests and you should level up really, really quick. You can/should really start thinking about good builds once you reach the high 80's. Good luck!

at low level damage isnt really that important, just slap a tier 3 powder on a normal or fast attack speed weapon and you're good.

anyway intelligence is a good skill to invest in as you level up, regardless what your class is just to use spells more often.
