Getting Rid Of Quest Items?

I was just about to do Reincarnation and thought I had lost a needed quest item, so I used /fixquests and got an inventory full of quest items, but all ones I don't need, like ones handed in at the end of quests I've done or given to start later quests that I already did. As some examples, a stack of Almuj Liquefied Emeralds, Gemstone Dust, and an Odd Smelling Crate. However, again, I've already finished the quests that take those from you (Jungle Fever, Alorei's Secret Part 1, Zhight Island). As such, I don't know how to get rid of them. They take up a lot of space, can't be discarded because the game says I need them for future quests, but with their quests done I can't hand them in. I don't know if this is a bug or oversight, thus why I posted here, but how can I get rid of them?

 

If you replace them in your inventory with an emerald Indiana Jones style, you should be able to just throw the quest items on the ground and have them disappear, just make sure your inventory is full so you don’t pick them back up

 

Thankfully that worked. And considering I had the notice for trying to toss an essential quest item 20 times, I'm glad there was a method. That would have been really annoying to deal with

 

FYI: there are three ways that I know of to get rid of your Quest items:
1) the method above.
2) place the quest item(s) in your crafting 2 x 2 area and fill the rest of your inventory (emeralds can be used). Then close your inventory. This way you can get rid of more than 1 quest item at a time.
3) use your daily chest to get rid of your quest item(s). The only chest you can put quest items in to and can get rid of more than 1 at a time. But, the only draw back is that you have to wait 24 hours in-between getting rid of item(s).
