Armor

I'm a little confused with wynntilst armor and weapons. fx. i'll see (insert name of weapon here) and then a percentage after the name. its the same with the effects of the weapon. the percentage is displayed in a different color fx. green or red. Any help with what this means?

 

Normally, if you just hover over an item with Wynntils on, there should only be a single percentage next to each identification, and next to the item name. This indicates how close to perfect your item is. If you hold control over the item, each percentage will change into three, which, if I remember correctly, indicates the chances that the roll will improve, worsen, or stay the same if the item is rerolled.

 

Hey Super Thanks for the reply! I get it now, but still a little confused. When you say perfect, perfect for/to what? And reroll, where can i do that? It's been a while since I last played this, a lot has been updated!

 

Perfect will show 100% in the percentage thing on the right of the stat. What it means is that that stat has rolled the maximum value possible (the best it can be). You can reroll things by putting them back in the item identifier's menu and confirming, just as if you were identifying something. However, it will cost a lot more emeralds than the original identification, and that number increases exponentially the more you reroll it.

 

Is 100% particularly always the best?

 

yes, 100% is maximum best roll. It's very uncommon however unless an item has a very small range on a stat.
