Fixquests

So I was doin the Lost Soles quest and at the end of it I heard if you did /fixquests you can keep you abysso Galoshes, So I did, but I didn't get anything back. Is there something else I need to do? is there any way I can get them back?

 

Dunno why you'd keep them as sodeta boots are way better and you can just do the previous quest on another class if you want them... Anyway iirc if it still works you have to do /fixquests as soon as the dude takes your item but not before he gives you the sodetas. So if you missed your chance you can't do it anymore.

 

How are the sodetas better? I was looking at the stats of both and it seems the others are better. I only wanted them back cause I thought they were better but if they arent then I wont worry

 

Well for spell builds sodeta is better, plus it has high xp bonus so that helps too. It depends on what your other armor and weapons are
