    There is a button you can press that opens an iron trapdoor inside of House of Twain. But what exactly can you find down in the basement becides from giant kegs. Is there even something to find down there, for a quest maybe, and in that case what quest? I jumped down and there wasn't even a way to get back up.

    It’s part of the “The House of Twain” quest. There are two plates that have to be pressed (use emeralds) and a wall will open. There is a clue for the quest and ladder to get out.
