'the Passage'

Hi all,

I have just returned to wynn after a bit of a pause and i've been stuck the quest 'the passage' for a while now. I've tried the bossfight at least 5 or 6 times. Could someone PLEASE help me. I am prepared to pay a block of emeralds.

You’ll still have to kill him yourself though, I can permanently heal you to make sure you don’t die and do some damage. But if you don’t do enough damage you won’t get the drop.

This boss is the one that you should solo the most. When you're able to beat it, you are skilled enough. The battle teaches you how to be good. Do not ask for help for this battle ever, would be my recommenedation.

 

What are you talking about? The boss is pretty over tune for its level

 

Eh, Tribal Sanctuary was intentionally made to be the easiest boss altar. I kind of agree that OP should solo it so they learn how to fight better.

Wybel isn't as super hard as people say. It's hard, for sure, but with some skill and good items it's completely winnable.

 

I did buff it in the Silent Expanse update, up to the tune of the bare minimum for a boss altar(2x health, 1.5x damage), which...basically means it got an extra 33% health from before. It's not at all overtuned, considering The Mummy at Lv 36 is proportionally about the same in terms of stats, and I didn't settle that one out.

 

so now the boss can be considered as a proper boss altar, and not just a tutorial of sorts?

 

Excepting that it's the only boss altar with a boss of such a low stat caliber, yes. But his patterns are still really basic...he DOES actually have a spell combo, specifically:

What this totals up to is him ALWAYS performing the same spells in the exact same order each time you fight him, but it seeming to be a random assortment. This is subject to change as the introductory nature of it may not be the best fit for such a seemingly chaotic pattern, but the fact that he literally only does Charge and Heavy Multihits makes him predictable and only combative at short range.
