How Does The Quest Track System Work ?

    I dont understand this System, if i track a quest and hold the book it just spam the text bar and do nothing, is this broken ?

    Keeping track of a quest keeps the current stage open in chat whenever you're holding the quest book. This prevents you from needing to stop, open the book, and locate the quest every time you want to check what to do.

    I believe it also makes the compass point in the direction of the quest

    Not sure where you heard that from, but that's not something it does. Some unofficial mods add that feature though.
