Strange Room I Found In The Canyon Of The Lost

So recently, I've been wandering around the Canyon on my warrior, looking for secrets or undiscovered chests, and found this strange entrance.

At first glance, it may seem like any old wall, but below this entrance are some fallen rocks, with a semi-hidden button.


After pressing the button, and parkouring up the side of the mountain, the entrance will open. You may have to wait a while, as there is plenty of time to parkour up, and you'll probably get there before it opens.

Opening up the hidden door will reveal a hidden room, however, there is nothing inside.

That's really it. There's absolutely nothing here. I just wanted to share this because it looks more finished than any of the other forgotten Gavel caves.

Some Speculation:
This room must be somewhat recent too, as the entrance door is not made with pistons. It's animated, and opens like a garage door (weird example), which is a sign that this was made after the CT began to use command blocks instead of pistons for hidden doors. I also believe this wasn't here before 1.18, however I am not completely sure.

It looks like it was either an old T3/T4 chest area I didn't know about that was purged in 1.18, an unfinished boss altar that was supposed to be added in either 1.18 or 1.19, or an unfinished secret discovery.

If anybody could confirm what this is or what it is supposed to be, that would be greatly appreciated.

Also I have no idea if this should just go in questions, I just wanted to share my discovery. If it's too small then I can just put it in questions instead.​

I guess I was just too blind to see this every time I looted for a Suppression
