Music Live On | Hypixel Noteblock Contest

hypixels doing the first noteblock competition in almost 5 years
entries to this contest were one of my biggest inspirations growing as a composer and to get a chance to do this myself it super sick

i plan to make at least one more song for the contest

 

man this just reminds me how good wynncraft's noteblock sound palette is

Also tbh you could just submit genesis of the end but using the normal note blocks and you would win

 

Pretty sure ShinkoNet's lost his charm after he made that incredibly boring song for the Deep Caverns

 

with the bass in default soundfont being so muddy and click being a literal click i wouldnt push my luck

i think shinkos songs are pretty sick especially with the mixing he does

 

You don’t actually need to use regular notes. The original thread mentioned that there’s no limitations outside of it should be made using NBS and needs to be your own creation.

 

I still hate this song though...
