Mage/Dark Wizard Help Unlucky Fellow Needs Bestowing Of Knowledge

I have a feeling I kinda hit rock bottom. Level up until around level 25, things were going fine. I was grinding in the graveyard and I started dying quite a bit. I noticed my gear was quite low level. So my terrible decision? Buy overpriced gear at the armor merchant. Level 28 mage now, lost a bit of loot to that graveyard, only a stack and a half of emeralds, only armor is Arcanic, Foundation, and Shajone, I just feel like I'm so weak for my level. Also I have like no levels in my professions. I just need a guide on what gear I should have and where to get it, and the recommended stats for my level + professions. Any help appreciated, call me dumb cause why not, please help like dear god my inventory is empty and my bank consists of ingredients + some other class weapons + stack and a half of emeralds

Edit - Also can I get like a guide for grinding xp and emeralds? As I said, dirt poor and that damn graveyard stole my life

 

This thread is highly recommended https://forums.wynncraft.com/thread...e-request-or-suggest-low-level-builds.253478/, also professions aren't recommended for a first playthrough, stray away from them for now, but here's some advice if you want gear:
-Loot every chest you see, they have emeralds and items that'll help
-If you see a cave of some sort, explore it, you'll find a high-tier chest jam-packed with all kinds of good stuff, I suggest wandering around the area surrounding Nemract and Ancient Nemract, there are some caves around there, but if you can't find those, look around in Pirate Bay.
-If mobs drop gear, take it, even if it's not your class you can identify the item and sell it to the blacksmith and makes some profit (keep in mind the chance of profiting is somewhat random but usually you make some profit)
-If you have keys, I suggest doing dungeons and buying gear with the dungeon rewards, they have some nice stats.
-This one isn't exactly recommended, but if you've got the spirit, you could do the Rotten Passage, a boss altar, https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Rotten_Passage, it drops a wand that's used in this nice little build https://www.wynndata.tk/s/larbst
As for the XP and emeralds, if you're not very strong or durable, avoid Grind Mobs (they give boosted XP but are significantly stronger than normal mobs, the mobs in the graveyard are Grind Mobs, you can tell by the yellow star near their name, YELLOW not PURPLE, purple-starred mobs are rare mobs which drop high-tier ingredients)

However, is there somewhere I can figure out how to get certain items? There some gear on the Lvl 30 Mage build in that thread I don't know how to acquire

Also don’t use merchant items cause they are often overpriced and weak, buy from the trade market at detlas instead. Also, some super nice ppl(like me) are willing to give some amount of money or aid to starters like you as long as you are not bossy or annoying
Loot chests are a great way to acquire money at your level but it’s still slow so don’t rely on it after you have enough

 

Use Adventurer's Armour once you're level 29. Gives 50% xp bonus.

 

Well the problem is that everything in the 20-39 category is above my level and expensive as heccc

As I said, click the link in my post that has "Rotten Passage" in it, it'll tell you where to find the Boss Altar and what is required, by doing the altar you get Haros' Oar, Dark Diadem is from the Dark Descent quest, Black Ripper is from Underworld Crypt Dungeon, Web Plate is from Infest Pit Dungeon, and the rest of the items can be found naturally
