Information Regarding "howler Bait"

I was messing around in the mesa area around Rymek; and I found a cave with two "Sentry Trap" enemies attacking me (with coordinates roughly being 1332, -1398 –see the picture). I went inside the cave out of curiosity; and inside there were more sentries and a hostile NPC called Kaven, which dropped an item called "howler bait" when I killed it. It's an untradable item, so I thought it had to do with a secret discovery or something like that, but turns out; there's essentially nothing about this item on the wiki, and the only post I could find about it on the forums was this post:

but it wasn't very helpful (the coordinates given lead to nowhere).


.....I figured it out myself lol

Across the river and in the general vicinity of the original cave, I found another cave with what looked like a broken-down cart infront of it (with coordinates roughly being 1156, -1460 –see the picture). I knew it had something to do with the item because howler bait (or, I assumed it was supposed to be howler bait) was littered across the cave entrance and interior. At the bottom of the cave was a clearing; and when I entered it my bait disappeared from my inventory and suddenly a part of the cave collapsed, and a boss called Howler spawned in. It dropped a "Howler Hide" and 4 gold bars with broken textures (I assume it's a bug), and I expect there to be other drops as well.

These are the kind of rare mobs I'd want to see in Wynncraft.

 

I believe it drops a piece of armor too
