Why do we need this "if you dont have 10 post, you cant post links or make a signature"? if somebody wants to spam, then they can spam without links. And i dont wanna create 10 conversations just for me to be able to make a signature/post a link. And also, thread replies dont count as 1, you need to create 10 root posts. Annoying. If thread replies would count, then it would be an ok rule.

 

Thread replies actually do count. Judging by your post history, you're replying in the forum games section, where no posts count towards your total.

This system was likely created to prevent spambots from posting links to whatever they're advertising, and it seems like you've encountered an unfortunate downside. If you're looking to get 10 posts quickly, I'd recommend replying and giving feedback on suggestion threads or threads in the your work section. As long as your replies add something to thread and aren't low-effort, you'll be fine.
