The Problem With Docter Legendary Phase 3

We all know Dr. Legendary an easy boss after cybel right

Wrong

To put it short his first 2 phases are normal Especially the first phase as that is the easiest, but his third phase...
Is Terrible

He is a dps wall which is normal I can handle it
But....
He is a dps wall that won't let you hit him he has push, charge, Teleport and on top of all that heal 20000 health every 10 sec doing over 2000 dps is easy, hitting him is not

My solution is to either lower his regen or remove his push spell

In my Opinion he is an easy fight but is just so annoying for tanks

 

ok so your problem is with phase 3 dr. legendary, and not phase 1, who's just...


now i'm usually one to properly respect people's opinions, but how in the hell do you find phase one fine while phase three is troubling

leg is harder than cybel for melee classes but easier than cybel for ranged classes
i hate it because i play assassin

tbh I found him harder than Cybel as Archer

 

The flamethrower spam is annoying, but I concur; his third phase's push spam deserves to burn in the deepest, darkest depths of Hell. The only class I can even hit him on is archer.

 

Are we sure that Bak’al is the big evil corrupted bad guy here? Because it’s pretty evident who here wants to watch the world burn.

no, archer is, because it still outranges the others and FUCK that push spell

 

Not to disregard @Magnificent, but I think spellspam assassin would be good, as the new speed boost makes it hard to die provided you have at least a room-temperature IQ. You can spinlock him and his flamethrowers/push never cast, so they can't harm you.

 

you're assuming you can get close enough in the first place lma0

also, you would have to have pretty decent mana/intel/draoi fair to spinlock him the entire fight

 

sometimes i wonder how lucky we are that dr legendary wasn't able to make qira, mistress of legendary island if his mechanical robot suit thing was that much of a fight

 

To be fair it used to be a push over. He's clearly analyzed all the challengers of LI and figured out what abilities are most annoying to deal with and shoved every single one of them into his suit.

I know right? I tried her out the other day and was more than a little surprised how hard she is now. Like, I honestly had more trouble with her since the update than the last time I did LI, which I guess puts her at least on par with Cybel and Dr. Pushspam.

 

My problem was with Phase 2 Doctor Legendary, my only weapons were Water/Thunder damage which meant every heal cycle I'd only chip away around 500HP. I do agree with you that his third phase is also very annoying, they should probably tone down his healing a bit.

 

Um, I had more trouble with the Oceanic Judge and (insert name of fire boss here) than her as a Shaman, it was just aura spam and the drones died instantly, also the cobwebs were surprisingly avoidable, I'm pretty sure Haul could actually push you out of them.
