First off, if you have not done FANTASTIC VOYAGE, REINCARNATION, ALL THE SILENT EXPANSE QUESTS, etc. Please click off this page, as this is just a discussion for what we believe happens/has happened to Bob that we HOPE will be included in HOPEFULLY the next couple of updates

Well, I think we all know that Bob's story hasn't actually been completed,

With these things being said, please! Start the theorizing!

 

Theory #1) Bob's name backwards is Bob.

 

Bob clearly stands for

Bob
O in the middle of "Bob"
Bob

What if Bob is still alive, but he had to seal the Dern portal from the inside?

My theory is: Bob used his own life force (probably used Sacrifice Method like Aledar) to trap The Eye in Dern.

But when Bak'al asking him: "I do not, Master. You cannot possibly intend to leave?" The Eye detaches itself from the body. And passes himself to Bak'al to place it to The Eldritch Outlook.

 

Personally this statement does not make sense to me. If The Eye really was the beast of Dern, why would we need to continue our adventure, we would have killed the ultimate evil? It is far more likely that it is when the beast said it must be present "In [its] gaze", it meant to be able to see Wynn, not physically be their [Silent Expanse Discovery: Silent Expanse's Secret].


As for Bob, the Ragni Library seems to be somewhat out of date, as it was made before the creation of the quest Corrupted Betrayal, which means that it does not make note of Slykaar at all. Because of this I don't believe it can be completely trusted without secondary sources (made recently) to prove what it says at all times.

 

I heard theories that the reincarnation is fake? Maybe, maybe not.

The theory does kind of make sense though, in bob's lost soul, the main quest guy (forgot his name) is a friend of bob and he is asking the player to find bob in his tomb. What if the body in the tomb under the staircase isn't actually bob? The player doesn't actually know what bob looks like, but the quest guide does. My point is what if there was a misunderstanding and it wasn't bob?

Then again this theory also doesn't make much sense because you literally fight bob in bob's reincarnation.

 

Nilrem's Sealed Letters(secret discovery) sorts the "fake body" stuff out, and my theory is that "Bob's Reincarnation" is actually just a powerful spell created by Bob before his departure to Dern.

I personally believe that Bob's Reincarnation that we fight was merely a test, a robot made by Dr. Legendary, the reason why this robot is "harder" than Robob (talking about if you fight them at the level you're supposed to) is because Bob infused part of his power into the robot, its already been shown that Bob can transfer his power into beings, I.E: Mooington, and the other pets of Bob, so what would prevent him from infusing his own energy into a Robot?

The reason why I'm saying this is because the fight was seriously underwhelming for what is supposed to be the strongest hero in the world, even Aledar and Tasim are harder and higher leveled, but Bob has been described as the strongest hero the Wynn prov has had.

We see in the wynn plains ultimate discovery that Bob's spells are supercharged compared to our own, making our Ice snakes look like a tapeworm, yet the spells used in the Reincarnation version of him are just like, normal charge lmao

The reason why he did this was to find adventurers that show potential to help seal the Dern portal.

If there is ever an "ending" to the wynn storyline I hope its finally sealing the dernic portal with Bob.

 

Uhh, what? There's no lore about Bob having any sort of relationship with Herbert, in fact, Corkus probably didn't exist when Bob was alive, and robots definitely didn't exist back then. Bob's pets are, well MORTAL, a robot is a piece of metal, so that of course is preventing him. Aledar and Tasim are stronger than Bob? What? That's definitely not the case for me, also Bob is lvl 75, are you comparing a lvl 75 boss to that of a lvl 103? It's called balanced game design, also pretty sure Bob is more difficult tbh, also, Bob was considered the endgame boss in previous versions when the level cap was like 70 or something.
Also, Tasim and Aledar in the ALTERNATE TIMELINE we were in were apparently the "Heroes of Wynn", so we can assume they're pretty damn powerful as well, also Bob is the strongest hero of the past, and the strongest one CURRENTLY in OUR TIMELINE. Bob's spells in the discovery are obviously exaggerated and cooler because it's a cutscene, cooler visuals without having to risk obvious gameplay limits, like seriously, did you expect them to be able to spawn a gigantic snake made out of ice without causing lag, framerate issues or straight up suffocating the player?

I wasn't specifically saying that they shoud spawn a giant snake and cause a huge influx of lag, I'm stating that Bob himself is in a whole other ballpark from us, and that if we were to fight his actual self seriously and be the hero he was looking for we'd be destroyed.

as for robots, the fine line between mortal and metal is shown to be passed in the "An Iron Heart" questline, Which is why I said that

Either way, it was just an idea to play around with.

 

In "An Iron Heart", those aren't exactly possessed robots, they're more like cyborgs, since they have a living being inside them, villager flesh is literally inside the golems, while Corkian robots are 100% mechanical, while soul-locking magic does exist, it acts more like a Horcrux then actually possessing something/someone.

Because, when i writte the name of "important figure from wynncraft's lore", i want to make color on that name, in order to give importance to one or another storyline figure about which I am writing.
