Remind me again why sunstar got a buff? It was stupidly easy to get amazing hybrid numbers and with Brainwash/Slayer (holy spell costs), is probably one of the best builds in the game...

 

ETA spell hybrid is overrated imo, it's not nearly as strong as people think it is

I'm talking about Sunstar/Slayer combo, not ETA in general.

 

It's fine imo. Try out the build, casting speed, interference, etc. and calculate some dps, it's not as strong as it seems on paper.

In response to Druser's post above, it's about 20k dps or a bit more while not being too aggressive in play and factoring interference. Melee isn't as strong as it looks on wynndata because shaman divides its melee between 3 beams. 20k is still a lot of course, just not as much as you might expect from looking at the wynndata build. If you play hyper-aggressive you can hit 25k+ though, I believe.

But regardless this is a very epic build and sunstar is insanely powerful.
