Music Um... Piano Improv Thing....

Please read this before looking at the score:

So i was bored, and i made some weird kind of loop in ableton (music program) and then just decided to improvise on my piano. Now for those of you who don't know, piano improvisation is exactly what it sounds like - you make up stuff on the spot on top of existing music.

Now turns out, (and this was a total accident) i had been recording the piano MIDI output while improvising, and now had 13:52 minutes of me making up garbage on the piano. Well guess what - turns out some of it wasn't garbage. I selected 12 measures and put them into musescore (8 measures are piano and 4 alt sax), add some trash sounding horns, and other stuff, added a trash outro, and then i got this:

*do note that i was playing at a slower tempo at the time, and that no, i cannot play those 32nd notes at that speed. also i added the trash left hand later on when putting it in musescore

also no you cannot leave me comments here saying my percussion is trash and musescore made this sound trash because trust me, i know

also it is my job and only my job to judge people's percussion so no you cannot

 

I completely gave up on learning the piano. But this is quite nice to listen to. Nice!

Sounds pretty damn nice to me, if you made some tuning and lengthened it a bit it could sell

 

To be honest I dont have the motivation to make this into something real and I am missing some of the technical skills of using Ableton to make it sound professional (not to mention that this thing would really have to be redone in order for it to be decent). Maybe in the future I'll look at this and actually try something but for now im just gonna keep practicing improv on piano, because I posted this here pretty much just to show of the improv, not the music itself.
