Build Lighthouse

I hope you will like it.
The beacon light is there for testing one thing, i was just lazy to turn it off.
Please note: this build is my first thing bigger than house.

 

nice build but why is there a light house in the middle of the ocean haha XD might as well put a gas station there XD

 

I totally understand your problem. The reason it is in the middle of the ocean is that there is hidden island nearby. And i am sure we dont want any ships crashing here...

 

I would add glass and a deck to the top of the lighthouse. Other than that some foliage around it would be a nice touch.

So I would recommend to replace the redstone lanterns on the top of the lighthouse with glass. That way the top of the light is transparent and clear. Then I would add plants like trees and flowers by the lighthouse.

 

I wanted to make the light rotating, like real lighthouses. I am aware that i did at the cost of its look.

You mean at the base of it?

 

Yes, and around the island too.

 

I think u dont get the purpose of a light house...
