Chiefs vs 49ers. Who y'all pickin? I'm going with SF because I think they're very well-balanced and solid in all areas. I want the Chiefs to win so my boiz Sammy Watkins and Shady McCoy can get rings though (I'm a Bills fan), but I don't think they will tbh

Everyones high as fuck on Patty Mahomes (and for good reason) but the 49ers have literally no weaknesses, ofc the Chiefs offense can keep up with anyone but my previous statement and history gives the 49ers every advantage.

here's a weird stat: In the regular season, the KC D had lower PPg against than SF (no. 7 vs no. 8) and the SF offense had higher PPG than KC (no. 2 vs no. 3), contrary to the narratives surrounding these teams

I meant history gives the 49ers the edge as in, when a good offense vs a good defense plays in the Superbowl, the defense wins. Just last year, the Pats defense hold boy-genius Sean McVay's Rams offense to 3 points, and in SuperBowl 48 Peyton Manning and the Broncos stellar offense being held to 8 by the Leigon of Boom.

Ah yes, weird stats, the opponent PPG is due largely to the 49ers defense being injured to hell 2018 style and the Chiefs facing pushover offenses like the Pats and Bears, but also did have some actually good games against the Broncos and Raiders. But as the playoff time came the 49ers got healthy and returned to shitting on opponent offenses and the Chiefs defense slowly began to fade, (although holding Derrick Henry to 69 yards is pretty nice). Offensively, the 49ers are better statistically Because they actually have a running game, and becuase Patty Mahomes missed a few games this year, but KC does have a better offense. Another fun fact, Jimmy G is almost statistically identical to Patty Mahomes (except ints) and I think we all know which of these 2 is better. :P
