Returning Player

Hello, I originally joined the Wynncraft community six years ago now... wow... that is a long time. I was 11 years old when I first joined. When, I was in 9th grade I presume it was, my laptop broke and was fried. So I haven't had a computer for four years now. I was in my Portfolio class and I had some freetime and I was playing WynnCraft on the Macs and I had a lot of fun doing so. I am getting a new computer on Monday and would like to get back into Wynn.

So, I have a level 82 Assassin, I left shortly after the release of Gavel. I have zero levels in any of the special skills like Mining, woodcutting, etc. What do I need to know to get back into the game?

 

Well first of you should know that the gathering and crafting proffesions aren’t all that important, however you can craft som pretty op gear if you want to. There’s also a new level 100+ area called the Silent expanse, also known as the road to Dern. New quests, reworked quests and new modes: craftsman (can only use crafted gear), hardcore (you will lose your hardcore tag if you die), ironman (can’t use bank or any form of trading) and also hunted, wich is basically a PvP mode that is unlocked after finishing the final quest in the game (so far) “A hunters calling”. When in hunted mode you’ll lose your gear to the player who kills you so be careful. There’s probably a butt-load of things I’m forgetting or don’t know when they came out (so I have no idea if you know about them or not) but i guessed I recited mostly what was added in the two latest updates, the economy update and Silent expanse update.

You don’t lose all your gear, it’s only a 10% chance for each piece when someone kills you on hunted, and hardcore doesn’t just add a tag, it makes it so you lose most of your items upon death

 

Whoops! Well I thought I was forgetting something! I haven’t personally used the modes so I didn’t really know 100% how they worked and whatnot.
