Yesterdays Patch - The Eye Changes, Wynnter Fair, Bug Fixes

Did not see that post. Still stands though; can't make those kinds of statements til you actually try it for yourself, it's misleading and disingenuous to do so.

 

What are the changes made to major ids?

 

Despite these changes, I’m still able to solo the eye, but this time I felt that the fight was a bit more chaotic than in previous patches

 

I assume the Eye is Chaotic Evil, also is this chaos more exciting or annoying?

 

increased wretches makes it exciting and frantic as there's a serious threat at more times, but increased lasers is tedious and annoying since all it does is make it hard to approach the eye to damage it. dodging it is trivial, and since it only covers one lane, it hardly poses a threat when you're not attacking.

Hawkeye and Greed debuff was probably well deserved, and now Plague will actually be useful since the bug for it is fixed and it had a nice little buff, Saviour's Sacrifice can actually be useful (even though the damn thing is prominent in a WARRIOR WEAPON) MADNESS NOW TRIGGERS EVERY 3 SECONDS!? WHAT THE HELL!? IT WENT FROM A GIMMICK TO TRUE INSANITY IN MOMENTS

It's inherently okay to speculate; analysis like that is healthy for the community as a part of general communication between the community and the staff. If you're so sure that he's being "misleading and disingenuous" then why don't you show him some evidence of the contrary?

This came across weird because it was contextless. In an older thread Selvut claimed that the warring community was too small for their opinions to be worth considering when it came to item changes.

Their conflict is over whether it's possible to run EO with the intention of farming XP. This is both testable when the update comes out and predictable based on other dungeons.

It makes sense to say that any speculation is respectable unless it's obviously flawed, but all Selvut had to say to it was this:

I don't mind the other guy for expressing his opinion about the update, but I don't like the way it's being patronised under no particular reasoning.

It's a Expectation VS Reality moment, reality is much more different than you expect

 

or its because, yknow.. selvut actually tried it... and his experience is worth a lot more than speculation.......
