Alright, so i've seen people put powders on items when they are crafted and I have three questions.

    1. What does the powder do if added to the crafting recipe? (Does it give elemental dmg to weapon?)
    2. Is it worth putting powders on crafting recipes? Or are ingredients better and then adding on powders?
    3. If the crafted weapon has neutral damage, will the neutral damage go away if I add a powder to the item?

    Thanks,

    yes
right now, in every single case, for spell builds it's always better to put powders in your recipe. of course not too many since you shuold actually meet the sp requirement (powders add +36sp req to whatever element you chose). if you use a spell build it's best to use 3 powders and 3 depths gem. there are many recipes and unique stuff to do (like earth powders and ritual catalyst) but in short, you should always use powders for spell builds

if you choose to use fighting stick or serpent's fang for non spell builds you don't really need to use earth powders but its very build dependant
it doesnt "go away", it depends on the powder you choose to use
it's a little odd with crafting, since if you powder a normal weapon that has neutral damage with 3 earth powders, there wont be any neutral damage left because it covered up more than 100% of the neutral conversion

but with powders in recipes even 3 earth powders still leave very very little amount of neutral damage not sure why

Attack speed is randomly picked, either normal, slow or fast. And you should add powders just like any other weapon if it's good

Assuming there's any neutral damage left, it will do as any powder on a weapon with neutral dmg does (convert whatever % from neutral->elemental depending on which tier powder, which element and how many)
