Fishing Problem?

    Hey so ive been trying to grind out my cooking skill so i need to do a lot of fishing and farming. Farming hasnt given me any problems but after a while fishing only gives me red Xs and I cant get any more trout. How do I fix this????

    Youre durability from your rod is depleted, it probabaly says 0, you need to throw this one and buy a new one for the fishing to work again.

    you dont have to throw it out, you can repair it at a blacksmith with scrap like any other item with durability

    They can be repaired at the blacksmith using scrap.

    Scrap is more expensive than a new one nowadays, thats why i said buy a new one :)

    You can get 1 scrap per 3 emeralds

    It takes more than 1 scrap to repair it right? Imo its better to buy a new one

    You would need only ~1 eb to repair one time

    It sort of depends on the tier of the tool, since the t11 + t12 cost an le each plus three successful dungeon runs.

    I think you’re right for T1 tools, and maybe T2 tools, but past that it’s definitely not better. Idk about the repair cost for T12 tools, but I’m at T7 right now and it costs about 5 scrap to repair. You can get ~15 emeralds to buy scrap before you’d be done a dungeon run.

    He’s fishing level 25, so that’s T4 tools. I’m pretty sure you can get about 9 emeralds to repair a tool and then do the 3 emeralds per scrap method faster than you can run Underworld Crypt/Lost Sanctuary.
