Fabled Weapons

We have only 2 Fabled weapons

Just 2
An entire new rarity teir and we get 2 weapons
I think that fabled weapons should be special
Thats why I have a proposition
I think that all boss alters and dungeons should drop at least one fabled weapon (for dungeons a dungeon merchant) and I think you should find some in the over world too

I just think that fabled weapons can make it so that people that can't afford mythics can get really powerful items without effecting people who have mythics

 

i think there will be more it's just that you need to come up with special abilities as well as a new weapon

 

blind thrust, ootg accesories, mirror's edge, second wind, ornate shadow armor

 

For dumb reason the Orange Wybel weapons aren't Fabled, yet a few other Boss Altars were changed to Fabled

 

I disagree, most non major ID fabled items had something unique about them. Blind thrust had the added melee damage, mirrors edge has a lot of sprint buffs, ornate shadow is insane powerslap and second wind gives 6k hp, +1 tier attack speed + some walkspeed and agility.

Each of them having something unique about them despite not having major IDs.

The new IDs can make just as much of a difference. I personally think getting more mythics to have major IDs would be a good idea since they're mythics but some of them don't really need it. Warp for example doesn't have a major ID but it does have tp spam and a lot of walkspeed, having a major ID as well could be unbalanced.

My point is fabled items don't need a major ID to set themselves apart from legendaries.

 

They're not needed, correct, but Fabled items need to have special traits to set them apart from legendaries. The two current fabled weapons both have major IDs, and those items you listed all have something unique about them that's not quite found elsewhere, as mentioned in the comment above.

The last thing we want is to have Fableds simply be statboosted legendaries, as that defeats the purpose of having an entire tier over just "strong" legendaries.

 

Um, what about Orange Wybe weapons? They're still Fabled

 

They are 100% adding more fableds

OOPS, I meant to say they're still Legendary despite being boss altar exclusive

 

The reason they didn't get upgraded to Fabled was because A) the Wybel drops five rewards and B) none of them were rares or uniques to upgrade. If it dropped five Fableds...don't you think that might be a little much? And while they're neat, they're also each pretty gimmicky rather than broadly applicable and useful, so comparing them to Fableds is a bit off.

 

Deadeye is just a statboosted legendary though

Yes. Aside from that and the huge Dex, it's just an item with much more base damage than usual.

 

Actually its base damage is only about 2% higher than normal.

 

Didn't it get buffed by something like 30-40% when it went from Rare to Fabled? Pretty sure it used to be ~400 (~460 after correction) and now it's ~620.

Everyone seems to be talking as though Deadeye can carry you through the 60s and 70s.

 

But it has a Major ID with a thematic link to the altar that makes it unique =)

 

It's basically only because Hawkeye is powerful.
