Does Attack Speed Affect The Rate At Which You Cast Spells?

This may seem like an incredibly stupid question for someone who's done wynn for so long, but I've used cluster on my archer since forever I go to 99 on my archer which was a long time ago. But I've recently started using aphotic-hive bow since I got a max aphotic recently, but the input delay when trying to cast spells with it was horrifically slow it effectively halved my (spell) attack rate. My question is the title.

 

Nope. You don't have to wait until the animation finishes to click again.

What attack speed does affect is the spell damage.

 

It just feels strange for a while because the animation is slowed down, but it doesn't actually affect what you can do (besides distracting you if you're not used to the slowed animation).
