I was doing the lvl 61 quest for Taproot and the witch Tiek said to put the dead bush in the trash compactor in the basement otherwise I can't continue the quest. Well, I keep trying to toss it on the red carpet only for it to not go in. It won't let me do anything. I've left her house, changed worlds, restarted my minecraft just to be sure, and tried again to no avail. If anyone has any information or can fix it it would be appreciated.

(I hope i'm doing this right. I'm new and haven't really done anything on the forums...)

Did you press the button afterwords?

    https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Taproot_(Quest)
    Stage 6[edit | edit source]
» Return the dead plant to Tiek.

    Dialogue:

    • Tiek: Oh. Oh dear. That was the strongest recipe I knew...
    • Tiek: Head to the basement and dispose of the dead shrub. Who knows what dark powers it has.
    • Tiek: Don't forget to activate the compactor. If you don't press the button, we won't be able to continue.
    Stage 7[edit | edit source]

    » Throw away the plant.

    Stage 8[edit | edit source]

» Press the button in Tiek's basement, exit the house and follow the rainbow trail.

Yeah, I pressed the button. I guess I was maybe panicking over nothing I still have the dead plant, but it let me continue the quest? So I think we are a okay. Although not being to get rid of it should be prefaced for the future or fixed. As it was worrisome. :disrelieved:
