    Exchange is unid/bulk buying or selling. Marketplace is IDed stuff and non bulk buying and selling iirc

    Generally, ingredients/powders use the exchange, whereas items use the marketplace.
    Unidentified items can also be sold on the exchange, but generally sell for considerably less.
    That said, revealing an item for the exchange is considerably cheaper than identifying an item for the market.
