Town Of Salem ( Mafia Game - Tps Sponserved Rolelist ) [ Game Ended: Serial Killer Wins ]

Phases last 48 hrs, so tmmr will still be Day 2. I just wanted to extend this first phase as long as possible to make sure everyone would have time to see.

 

By "today" I meant Day 2 ingame. I also understand the reasoning behind prolonging the day phase but it's risky if we fail to gather enough voters afterwards.

Yeah, we can't really get any use out of someone who doesn't talk. Town needs people to cooperate with each other so if you don't talk during the day the least thing you do is be an obstacle.

You seem to follow what Tsukiya says now but a few posts before, you were disagreeing with them stating that it would be too late to start pushing for role Day 3. While Ursae may have been the better vote, I’m not sure as to why you are taking back your vote on Nox since we have less than half of Day 2 left and already had 7 votes on Nox. It’s very hard to mobilize the playerbase in a timely fashion due to timezones so if Ursae is the reason why you took back your vote, I would ask of you to vote on them again.
If there is some other reason, then I don’t mind since this is merely a random lynch based on an educated observation by a couple people. I wouldn’t ask you to explain your reasoning for taking back your vote but right now, I find it a little odd given the circumstances.
My assumption right now is that you are helping stall the lynch with Tsukiya since any one vote would result in the lynch going forward. If that is your reasoning, then I understand.

 

Btw, we still have 22 hours left till phase change.

Also, a side comment.
Qzphs strikes me as very understanding and experienced with the game and of the game’s mechanics. Aquila doesn’t strike me the same way due to their statements not being as accurate and inaccurate in the one case where they later excuse the inaccurate statement as being really fatigued. They excuse their fatigue with an exaggeration. Not to be rude, but either he isn’t as good as you all are making him out to be, he is playing down his knowledge of the game, or he is acting like how most talkative people with evil roles act: inaccurate remarks and excuses for inaccuracies to later set up their not-so-great fake wills as valid since they already made themselves out to be bad at the game.
I have looked at the past Town of Salem threads and I see why you all fear him, he’s won all of Arch’s rolelists. But I think you should all consider how he won.
1st Rolelist: Carries Town as Jester. Town feels indebted and lets him win. Mafia was painfully obvious however but Aquila was the most vocal.
2nd: Arch messes up and confirms him as Guardian Angel influencing everyone not to kill him.
3rd: Lucky VFR and Mafia and Coven kill each other instead of town.
I don’t think Aquila is as good as you all fear him to be and I’m not saying that to be rude. I’m just pointing out what I see.

Delaying allows for people in other timezones or people who don’t check forums often more time to respond. We have the time so might as well abuse it.

I'm following Tsukiya's reasoning. I trust that they will be able to push Noximilien up with me later in the day phase, and hence leaving 2 votes to spare helps dissuade an early trial.

Free Fall answered this as I was writing this post. The specifically important reason in my opinion is to confirm the existence of pirates, which still has a nonzero chance.

I thought the same thing about Aquila but I figured it'd be toxic to point it out. But in all fairness, this is a forum-based game, not the original Town of Salem. The vastly increased game time, on top of the non-standard role lists, creates an environment where typical skills and strategies don't survive well. This is also why I expressed a little backlash prior to this game starting. At the end of the day, whether a player fares well in such a game environment reflects little about the extent of their actual Town of Salem experience, so there's not really a lot to judge on.

Sorry for being late to reply. As I'm being lynched I'm assuming it'd be in our collective interest for me to reveal my role. I'm claiming townie, tracker. I tried to track free fall, but was witched, so I sadly don't have any more information.

 

That is true, however, I'm going to be a little nitpicky and I'm very sorry about this. (I'm not well-liked in real life due to my trait of pointing everyone's flaws and unintentionally making them look lower as a person. I don't mean to insult anyone or to act stuck-up. I'm certainly far from the best person alive and certainly far from a good human being).
I am mostly certain everything everyone knows about Aquila's gameplay and Town of Salem experience is either by the word of mouth from Arch or by actually playing with him on Arch's rolelists. I don't know whether to treat Arch's words as credible (I'm sorry) because we can all see his bias and general liking towards Aquila versus everyone else. Arch looks up to Aquila. Maybe that is a good sign of Aquila's abilities in actual Town of Salem because why would Arch praise him in the first place? But at the same time, Aquila's skill in the browser or steam game (whichever he plays) might be exaggerated by Arch and this exaggeration leads to this untouchable aura around Aquila in the Town of Salem forum games. Maybe it's just me but I feel really weird about Aquila. It's how I also feel about many of the more popular people or users on any platform but most generally have some form of solid background or proof to back up their status. Aquila doesn't really and that's why I feel odd about them.
To @Aquila: I'm really sorry about my behaviour but it's what I notice about you on this forum.

I think we should keep information on who Nox tracked quiet because only the Coven Leader knows who he tracked. Nox has no idea who he tracked so his information would only benefit Coven.
