Quest Items Disappeared For "order Of The Grook" Due To Bug; I Want My Items.

My inventory was full of potions and emeralds and there were parts of the quest where you had to pick up more items so I thought "hey these quest items won't disappear so I'll throw them out temporarily to sort my inventory" and then they disappeared forever. Didn't even plop on the ground for me to pick up, just completely gone from the world. I couldn't even empty out my inventory beforehand because mage island doesn't have a bank.

Turns out they weren't necessary for the quest but were supposed to give you OP items at the end in exchange. I finished the quest and got zero rewards out of it. I feel like being able to discard key items like that shouldn't be a feature that I was supposed to avoid by not putting faith in the game I'm playing.

How can I get the fabled necklace I was supposed to get? Is this a case where I deserve to not get the items? Can I contact a game dev?

I was able to get the vouchers back and I bought back the tome and wand, but now I can't trade them in since the quest is over...

 

What items did you buy from the merchants when you choose wand and tome?

 

I bought the Sky Wood Rukh wand and the Teachings of a Wizard tome. Also my username here is the same one as in-game.

Uhh, Quest Items are UNDROPPABLE, the game won't let you drop them, no idea how you dropped yours somehow, but you could've fixed this via /fixquests, but since you finished the quest, I'm afraid you'll have to do the quest on a another account of lvl 59 to get the items

 

quest rewards aren't classified as quest items if they aren't used again in a quest, so the fabled accessory in this case was dropped because it was untradable, not a quest item.

 

Um, did you read the thread? He threw the VOUCHERS which were QUEST ITEMS, not the rewards!

The root problem is lack of a good way to get rid of quest items - currently we just use glitches. If this were patched there would certainly be a massive uproar about quest items.

 

imagine being level 59 range and having an inventory "full of emeralds and potions" and not even considering to stop at a bank on the way to do a long quest
