just traded up to or bought a 1/40 white horse? Don't want to level it yourself? Well don't worry, lazy, I can do that for you!

This trading works like this:

you have a 1*/40 white horse and don't feel like leveling it
so
for the price of 16 le, you can trade me your 1/40 white horse and 16 le for a 40/40 white horse

In the end, I'll have a new horse to train and you will have a 40/40 veteran's horse with its own God given name. The first horse is named Neptune. She likes pudding


*A side business note*: if you don't have a level 1/40 but you do have, let's say, a level 16/40 white horse and want to trade for a 40/40 white horse... we can talk about the price in a pm. Pricing is scaled so don't expect to pay 8 le for a 40/40 white horse if u have a 10/40 horse

I would buy a 1/40 for 72le but I don't believe it's the norm on the market. I'm more in agreement with you regarding standard horse prices.

 

Which is quite stupid considering it takes on average 120LE to breed a white horse. But then again, Wynncraft staff team decided to kill the already undervalued horse economy by introducing a max level of 35 on chestnuts in an easily obtainable dungeon trade. Resulting in a large oversupply in comparison to a smaller demand of people who want a white horse, despite this new batch of chestnuts being almost exactly the same speed.

Black horses could be bought for 1le in a prior version of the game (they cost 2le on average now), which justifies the current pricings of horses. I also disagree with your opinion of upgraded Chestnuts — there's evidence of decent demand for White horses, which indicates that their place in the economy remains quite the bit more functional than you make it out to be. I've met many players (like myself) who are willing to purchase a White horse in order to optimise its speed. Spending so much more money for a slightly better horse is worthwhile to those who can afford it because said investment is game-long and only needs to be done on a one-off occasion.

 

I'm perfectly aware that black horses could be bought for 1LE. But after VIP town was removed, the pricing of horses gradually increased over time to a steady 100-110 LE throughout 2015. I know this as someone who bred 6 whites and sold them all that year.

Obviously there's still some demand for White horses, but it's significantly less than it was beforehand. Most people are content with a 35/35 chestnut now, rather than a 40/40 White. I'd honestly go for a chestnut now and sell my White, if it werent for the fact that he holds sentimental value due to me having had him for 6 years now. Just because there some demand for White horses still exists, does not mean that the demand is as high as it was back in 2014, 15 or 16.

 

lets be real, the reason prices crashed is actually mainly because ppl like me who had tons of black horses from donor town came back and just had a chestnut or 5 sitting around on an alt that they made for 5-6 LE and sold or influxed the market with chestnuts/whites(I've made like 4 more chestnuts since back and sold em all for PROFIT)
i'd possibly be interested though if i could get proof and gaurunteed that I wouldnt be scammed once I buy my white....considering I only manage to buy a 1/40
