    Just in case anybody sees this and thinks that -100% second spell cost actually removes its spell cost. It doesn't.
    I've got a Shine Suffocator with >100% 3rd spell cost reduction and I have to pay 1 mana for each Aura I cast. (This also increases as it's spammed.) ;_;

    Ye ofc lol, the minimum a spell can cost is 1 mana, but with the last version of infinite tp mage you needed to use ice snake every third or fourth so the tp wouldn’t go up to much in cost. But with this build you don’t have that problem since it’s always gonna be 1 mana.

    After some testing around, I found (strangely enough) that the Vexing set isn't needed.
    This is because in both conditions, when casting the teleport spell multiple times in a row, it was on the fourth teleport spell when the tp spell cost went up from 1 to 2 mana. Since the benfit of -% teleport cost is that the reduced cost of the consecutive teleport spells allow for more teleport spells to be casted before the ice snake spell to reset the cost, there's less downtime on the infinite tps which makes tp mage faster. This means that if the amount of -%tp cost that you have doesn't grant this advantage, then it would be merely excessive tp cost. Should this be the case, then you can swap those items giving excess -%tp cost and use it for other purposes if needed, eg: extra mr or int, to reach 129 int for 1 mana ice snake spells (remember, the -% cost only applies to teleport spell). However, if extra mr / int isn't needed, then it doesn't matter either way.

    And you also got me curious so I did some experimenting around myself:
    https://wynndata.tk/s/3kjy71

    With this build, you'll have some excess mana regen, but all that means is that you can be really relaxed with your requirements when finding / buying the items. You also get a -2 raw ice snake spell cost which'll allow for an extra 1-2 teleport spells per spell cycle (haven't tested ingame though).

    I read through that spoiler 4 times and I still don’t understand why the spell cost goes up on the 4th time .-.
    Please explain a little clearer

    Wait what? You shouldn't be able to get 3 1 mana teleports in a row without using raw cost modifiers.

    There's a spellcasting game mechanic that applies for all spells. When casting the same spell multiple times in a row, the spell cost starts increasing by 1 mana for each extra spell casted. Without any -%tp cost or -tp cost raw, the mana cost of the teleport spell will start increasing from the 3rd spell onward - and thus a regular tp cycle would go by: [-1 mana] [-1 mana] [-2 mana] [-3 mana] [-4 mana].

    However, Mirror's Edge -78% teleport cost reduces the cost of the 3rd teleport spell from its default [-2 mana] to [-1 mana], and the 4th teleport spell from [-3 mana] to [-2 mana].

    Bonus thingy:
    And the same results occur from having -128% teleport cost from Mirror's Edge + Vexing set. The 3rd teleport spell is reduced from 2 mana to 1 mana, and I assume the 4th teleport cost is reduced from 3 mana to around 1.5 mana, but in the end it gets rounded up to 2 mana meaning that the outcome is the same as with just Mirror's Edge alone. I'm less certain about this final statement so if some spellcasting calculation god could confirm / debunk this that would be great.

    I'm pretty certain this is unintended behavior. That's really strange. Do you know for sure that this works?

    Ye I know the spell cost increase mechanic, but that sounds like a bug? It’s -128% so it should just be 1 mana every time? In your hero beta video showing off Idols -192% 2nd spell cost, it always cost 1 mana? What’s different now?

    They changed how -% spell cost works. In the hero beta, -%spell cost used to override the increased spell cost from casting the same spell multiple times, but it doesn't anymore. The +x mana from casting the same spell multiple times is now added onto the end.
