Over the many sea creatures living on Earth's beautiful oceans. It is probable that this creature is legendary. I believe in it a vertebrate, can't be any in the phylum "Mollusca". This means it can be a mammal or fish. Now due to your name, I would believe that it is part of the fish family. Now we can have between 3 sub fish categories; Lampreys, Eels or bony fishes. Due to your profile picture patterns shows that you prefer bony fish.

Let me recap; It is a vertebrate, it is a fish and it is a bony fish

Anyways, the next question is if it is a deep-sea fish or not. If it's a deep-sea fish it will easier since the ecosystems in the deep ocean don't have much variety but, we will leave that for last. I have done a quick search through your profile and it seems you are from California by the way you say "Not from California" which is clear sarcasm. So, I went to go get a degree in Californian Marin Biology and now I can tell you that they are a lot of Coastal Rainbow Trout near California. Fucking useless.

Your favourite marine animal is the Dumbo OCTOPUS or Mantis Shrimp. Yeah, I know " Lasagus, you said it can't be a Mollusca or invertebrate". Yeah, I did say that but, I will try to trick WithTheFish that the Dumbo OCTOPUS is his favourite marine animal. Bruh, that cutie pie is your favourite animal. You can't tell me otherwise. Yeah, Mantis shrimp is cool, that is why I think he likes it.

I can confirm that both of those answers are incorrect, and I highly recommend changing them.

There is a wikipedia page dedicated to this organism.

Either no one will get this question right, or a surprisingly high amount of people will. (I think)

Don't just guess something simple like "Fish" or "Penguin". I prefer more specific answers such as "goldfish".

"Goldfish" isn't the answer to the question, so don't bother guessing it.
