How Op Are Assassins?

The assassin is probably the only class I know absolutely nothing about. Never played them, never had any friends who played them and never seen them in-game, well, I have just not doing anything big in-game. But while looking at some old wynncraft videos, I saw this one vid covering the pvp zone when it was still a thing, and apparently assassins completely dominated the other classes. Some assassins had builds who could do 2000% damage with multihit which I just saw as insane. With that in mind, were the assassins ever nerfed? Should they currently get nerfed?

Assassin is one of the five classes of wynncraft, and none of them are particularly overpowered at the moment. General opinion does favor archer, due to the range and ability to exploit enemy behavior. Escape being really good (speed 3) is another factor. However, that doesn't apply nearly as much to later content.

Heavy melee on Assassin is the best thanks to Vanish boosting damage. Mage has sustain and is probably the easiest class to build, thanks to generic bpc/ornate/dc/meme/dia hydro/nepta. Warrior can do epic regen shenanigans and is arguably the weakest due to ele defs being weird right now. Shaman is still new and is being abused pretty hard right now thanks to items that haven't been fully balanced yet.
Have I mentioned tierstacking warrior and assassin? Archer doesn't benefit nearly as much from that because melee attacks on archer are single target, along with not having very good tierstack weapons in the first place.

TL;DR: Assassin is in a good spot. Bless vanish buffs.
Archer isn't as OP as people think.

 

Warrior and mage are the most chill
You can build nearly unkillable warrior and mage while retaining good dps and good walk speed, overall high quality of life if you're a laggy player (me)
idk about raw power but definitely the most chill and low-effort/saving my fingers because heavy spell, not spellspam or melee tierstack

 

first of all @Saya is correct on the fact that archer isn't actually overly op, HOWEVER, i will still say that archer is the best class. bless nighthawk condensing arrow streams for max damage on a lower cast time, so higher dps.

assassin's vanish buff is really good, but imo not good enough to be better than mage.

warrior is still shit, check out at @JaydonTheWarrior thread on how to improve

Yeah , regen tank warrior is pretty cool and surprisingly easy to build

Nighthawk, ugh. Hate how it's basically required now for archer.
Vanish boosting heavy melee assassin is pretty cool, though. In its current iteration, better than mage (have you seen the damage on it?)
Mage gets hit hard basically every update with heal nerfs, and for good reason :D

It's stupid how easy building regen tank is, just filter wynndata for hpr, use 0.01% of brain, and bam regen build

 

ye i use heavy melee on assassin because its most viable

however, as i said, in MY opinion, it is not better than mage, as i feel like being able to heal and freeze enemies and tp away is much better survival than a 5 second disappear, not to mention that mage also does pretty ok damage

Honestly we need the jumpboost back on vanish ngl
but like all around great burst damage but after than not amazing.
