Boulders?

So I was playing a CraftMan playthrough and leveled up to level 10 mining, and i noticed it said "New resource: Boulder"
And this was the first time I had even heard of it, I started to look it up and couldnt find any mention of it anywhere, so does anyone know what Boulder is or where I can find it?

 

From what I've heard, there's a discovery in the Silent Expanse that requires you to break a boulder through mining.

 

alright, seems a little weird to have that unlocked at level 10 tho

 

if it was higher then that'd lock a discovery behind a high grind wall, in my opinion it should be mining level 1 even, gathering profs are completely optional after all

 

its not about the exact level, its more of that it requires a level at all and considers 1 discovery as a "resource"

 

The message is intended to say "New Resource: Granite" but a bug causes it to display the Boulder. I recall it was reported in beta, guess it never got fixed (it's relatively minor after all).

I believe it automatically displays any material that can be mined at the level -so it also displays ‘Mushrooms’ for lv. 1 farming and ‘Bamboo’ for lv. ~80 woodcutting or farming (not sure which)
