Mage/Dark Wizard A Few Interesting Mage Melee Builds

While experimenting with Gaia on Wynndata, I made this melee build (ETA):

That build has an immense 23.7k dps, and it isn't too glassy with 12.2k health and a minimum of 55 agi (there are 26 extra sp that you can dump into dex for more dps or into agi for better survivability, since Strength's effect has already capped at 147 sp). Also, as a small bonus, it has 10.4k meteors.

Then, a guild member asked me if I had a non-mythic alternative, which I decided to build with Compiler.

Then, I wondered how it would do with thunder being the main damage instead:

I tried to incorporate Agility into all the builds above to prevent absolute glassiness. If you have any suggestions to make these builds better, feel free to leave them in the replies.

Though I'm surprised at the lack of virgo...

 

This was unintentional, as I'm not very familiar with build metas - I'm mostly experimenting at the moment.

I am interested, though - I looked at Virgo and dismissed it based on the downsides it brought (high skill reqs, glassiness, -melee%) but I guess I didn't consider the bonus in Earth damage.

Now that I'm trying Virgo...wow I missed out on something. I made this: https://wynndata.tk/s/u3ne48. A bit glassier indeed, but a 4k dps increase is insane. Thanks for the tips!

Edit: Virgo doesn't seem to improve the Thunder Compiler build, though.
