    Is it balanced so a mix of bonus and quality is better than one or the other? Otherwise one of the IDs just had its usefulness killed.
    And if they're equally powerful (give you about the same number of high tier items/time), then wouldn't loot quality be better because you have less items to sift through?

    Loot quality is probably better at a 1:1 ratio but is MUCH harder to get. A combo of both is the best idea, as more loot+ better loot together makes more better loot.

    You want a combination because loot quality will always be found in lesser quantities and will be more restricted. LB has diminishing returns on chests, whereas loot quality does not. Ideally, you want to get more (LB) loot that's better (LQ) so a mix will always be better.

    That does raise the question, however: does loot bonus "trigger" first when you open a chest or kill a mob, then loot quality improves the extra stuff?

    Given how loot bonus works, its probably not worth it having loot bonus over 120 or something or even 100 if you replace it with loot quality.
    so probably pelier diamond dust and a loot bonus weapon, then the rest of the accessories and armour can be loot quality.
    this is just a guess, I didn't do the math, and i probably wont bother doing the math.

    I think that there is a Normal to Unique ratio that is constant, regardless of Loot Bonus
    Notate the probability of getting Normal and Unique by P(<=1*), Set by P(S), others be P(>1*)
    Trivially, P(<=1*)+P(S)+P(>1*)=1
    With Loot Bonus, P(>1*) is increased and the probability originated for P(<=1*) is allocated

    Why would you think there's a ratio? It should just be that per slot in a chest, there is x chance of each rarity of each type of item(ring bow helmet etc), as well as chance of it being nothing, some type of potion, y tier ingredient, z amount of emeralds, and they are all constant regardless, and when loot bonus comes along the chance of nothing is reduced, and everything else is scaled by a factor to equal 100% again.

    I mean that the items in loot chests increase with time. As time goes on, there are more items in the chest. The probability of getting weapons, armour or accessories should be constant, what is difference is just their distribution
