Advice I Wish I'd Known Sooner

This is a compilation of those things you don't think of doing firsthand, that would've been really nice to know beforehand. If you want to reply some other tricks & tips in the comments to help the others, go right ahead!

• The Blacksmith will buy almost anything, even ingredients.
• If you are level 34 or above and want a horse, you save emeralds by going down to Ternaves. Trade Market is too pricey
• Should you get to Selchar, the Seavale Reefs (go east) spit out treasures that can be traded with for emeralds. Diving for 3 MC days got me almost a full LE. Oh, and use the diving helmet from the quest down near the Coastal trail
• Buy your own boat and use the map. Many a treasure is to the east of the Reefs.
• Gold bars (an ingredient) down in Rymek will get you 4 emeralds a piece, and may also let you buy things there.
• The various shops will trade you golden bars for certain items, like:

• Eggs! 4 for a gold bar, and you can get them at Katoa Ranch (Near the Decrepit Sewers)
• Mushrooms! 8 for a bar, and you can either farm them from Nivla Forest or by the evil mooshrooms outside of Detlas (Facing the Black Road)
• Grook Feathers! They are 1 for 1 and can be drops from the grooks wandering around Detlas
• Pink Wool! Getting 1 from the Pink Sheep of Greatness (Outside Detlas, towards Ragni) will fetch you 8 gold bars

 

Use optifine and version 1.12.2 (you can use wynntils too)

Trade market brown horses are 99% scams.
For reef diving, use the Breathing Helmet II (not the Breathing Helmet I).
Boats are pretty useless - you don't need them often and spellspamming can be faster with good mr (the one exception I have to this is that one Nodjug quest where you have to get to the ship).
The stuff you can buy from Rymek isn't really worth it.

Some tips I'd say are:
1. Acknowledge the existence of Seaskipper Merchants, Scroll Merchants, Dungeon Scroll Merchants, and fast travels. They will reduce your travel time significantly if you use them well.
2. Watch your soul points. Try not to get below 6 soul points because you will lose stuff you don't want to lose.
3. 60% of the time, you can spam right click to run through dialogue in quests.
4. Explore the use of in-game commands. /toggle and /class are the basics.
5. Use the search feature on Trade Market. You can get gear with favorable stats at favorable prices this way.
6. Explore Wynncraft forums, Wynncraft gamepedia, Wynncraft-related Discords, Youtube, and Wynndata. This is a fast way to learn about the game.
7. Professions are 99% optional (other than the tutorial).
8. Legendaries are not always the best.
9. Lootrunning requires good memory but is a great way to get good items and money.
10. Dungeon parties are great for leveling for lvls 65+ (aka realize the Forgery is a thing).
