Fun Facts About Kantry!

If you've been to Lutho before, you are probably familiar with these guys:

Native to the Eyeball Forest region within the Silent Expanse, kantry have been domesticated by the citizens of Lutho. Male kantry are called kantyrs while females are called kanters.
They are decently strong creatures, being found as Level 110 inside the town and even being utilized as it's guards. However, their health varies, with some having up to 45,000 hearts and others just 30,000.

In fact, there are a couple varieties of characteristics that differ from kantyr to kanter.
For instance, they come in a range of colors.
Their color variants are referred to as: Dusk (blueish-gray), Royal (purple), and Chalky (white).
Dusk kantry have white eyes, Royals have yellow, and Chalky have black.
They also have a bulb at the ends of their tail that can be black, magenta, yellow, or light gray. Tail bulb colors are based on gender and not the overall color variant.

Their young, called kantyri, are calves, meaning they are mammals. Additionally, the calves are Level 100, have 12,000 to 15,000 hearts, and will follow you if approached.
Sadly, kantyri lack the tail bulbs their adult forms possess. :(

As for elemental stats, they always have the same element for both damage and defense. Dusk kantry are assigned to the thunder element, Royals to water, and Chalkys to air. However, kantyri do not have any elemental stats whatsoever.

Wild kantry can sometimes be found close outside of Lutho, in the Eyeball Forest, the Void Valley, or in the hillier areas of the Toxic Wastes.
You can occasionally find them nurturing plagued kantyri, in which case the other kantry will be hostile and attack.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it: Kantyrs are cooler than Wybels.

 

At least this creature doesn't have a species that's hell bent on killing you and somehow becomes one of, if not the hardest boss in the game

How did you discover those facts?

 

From observing the kantry in and outside of Lutho, from what other players have told me, and from the Wiki.

Oh you poor thing. Look at the Kantyri being nurtured; it has a tail bulb. If it were a child, it wouldn't have one.

 

Kantyr
(plural: Kantry, female: Kanter)

Native wildlife to the Silent Expanse, domesticated for compansionship+livestock purposes. Meat is mostly inedible, but can be tanned to make fabrics. Bones are high in nutrient value.

Omnivorous, able to eat plants or small animals. Mostly lives in eyeball forest regions, using long proboscis to drink the ocular fluid out of the "leaves". Only seeks large eyes, as a human-sized eye or smaller is basically the equivalent to eating a single grain of rice. Generally hunts insectoid creatures such as dernic fish or Irriticks.

Naturally curious towards those it does not see as food, they proved easy to domesticate and generally affectionate afterwards. Limited intelligence, but able to be trained. Due to their weak limbs, they are no good as guards, however.

Tail bulb lights up when high levels of emotion or stress occurs, most often when searching for mates. They become agitated if their bulbs are handled, though if cropped they lose no bodily function.

Newborn Kantyr are disgorged through the proboscis, leaving Kanters somewhat weak; Kanters are generally given aid when eating or drinking during this time, be it by mated Kantry or by domestic handlers.

I think Kantyrs it's a Domesticated Animals by Olmic Race, but Dernic Magic infected them and Miners from Lutho errect the Obelisk and they domesticated them.

 

The Realm of Light is what caused the obelisk to come into being.
