Quest-problem

    so I am asking is it possible to reset a quest? I was doing the elemental exercise quest and lost the weapon and now i cant reset or finish the quest and i don't like the fact that its saying i always have an active quest. can someone help or tell me if it is possible to reset a quest?

    He means that his questbook says he has started the quest and he doesn’t like that he can’t finish it.
