I personally feel that Sorcery is overpowered, yet still somehow really annoying to use, because of how many times I've teleported to a chest, opened it, and had sorcery proc and teleport me away from the chest.

This is a reasonable and intended feature. I have no idea what you're talking about.

 

If the amount of times the spell was casted was had a maximum of let’s say 2 for certain spells perhaps, I don’t think it’s a bad major id.
