SPOILER This Level 25 Quest Is Difficult For Me.

Anyone else think "Recover the Past" is kind of difficult? Especially at the defend the bridge part. I'm playing as mage and i dont know if it's hard in general or hard just for mage. Is it difficult for anyone else or is it just me? I havent played wynncraft in months so this may seem like old news.

 

The mobs on the bridge have quite a ludicrous amount of hp imo, especially because there are swarms of them. There are two mobs in particular (I forget their names) that have something around 800-1k hp, which, for reference, is only 200 less or the same hp as the Underworld Crypt Key Guardian, which is generally considered a hard mini boss for new players because of its hp and it hits like a god damn freight train. While I did struggle in the beta on my Shaman, I personally don't struggle with this section anymore because I have gear prepared for lower levels. However, I can see why this section would obviously be harder for others, as they wouldn't have the gear I have prepared for leveling. I suspect Mage has the most troubles simply due to bad dps, especially at such an early level in the game. Other than that section though, the quest is easy.

 

Yes it is difficult as mage, i feel its going to be easier with ice snake.

 

When i was doing the quest, the guard launched backwards into the water somehow, and all the mobs couldn't get him so I just defeated them all.

How were you suppose to know to right-click on the person?

 

A general rule: if nothing is happening, right click an NPC.

i did this quest a couple days ago and it was really difficult for me as archer- the mobs kept gathering inside the NPC and the arrows wouldn’t register right or something. (i guess i shouldn’t have stood behind the NPC lol)
i figured out how to do it after a couple tries but it was certainly a challenge at first!

 

As a shaman, I had to wait until level 35 to actually complete it

 

I found it really difficult too, and I tried it as a lvl 35 mage. It's probably a piece of cake if using the Therck Set though

 

Tbh I had no trouble with completing it at level with Shaman.

 

Temporary NPCs (NPCs that spawn and disappear later on) are often moved by spells like Aura and Uproot

 

The trick is to level up and do it later

 

This is gonna sound bad but idk what was hard about it? I did it at like level 26 or something (cause of the spell upgrade) on my HHIC mage? Spamming meteor worked well enough.

 

It is not EXTREMLY hard if you play very tactically. But i agree, the mobs have way too much HP compared to their Level. Especially since they’re in swarms.
