It has to be between Booster plate and Steamjet Walkers
Booster plate:
So you've got a Corkian highly advanced chestplate with steam jets boost, from the description this chestplate is a marvel of technology and a brand new concept, also there is slight risks but it doesnt appear to be a problem.
And then there's steamjet walkers:
This random guy just stole the plans of Booster Plate, made them into boots, upgraded the speed and didn't give a piece of heck about safety, afterall you don't have to worry about safety if you can just outspeed everyone!

Mysterious, maybe a side quest. Maybe stolen from Wind2048's Fortress long ago....mysterious...

Item/Lore: Bad Wolf; "
The runic message carved on these enigmatic boots cover hundreds of different languages, many of them disused, but what has been translated seems to describe a disaster soon to arrive to the world."

Why: This item holds a special meaning to me. Being a close reference to Dr who where the words "bad wolf" would appear wherever one went and eventually lead them to disaster, this item led me astray during peeves his riddle and possibly even lost me the contest. However what it brought me was a genuine interest in a show i had never seen before when i watched the specific episode relating to "bad wolf" only to binge the rest of that season. The irony is that bad wolf describes the coming of a disaster while instead it described the coming damn great show for me.

Favorite Item Lore: Has to be Moontower, "For the belief of the cosmos' defilement, the moon was noted to remain unchanged. Those with this belief live only for the light of the moon, desperately seeking to maintain it through means that would only darken the soul of the most devout. Such from them comes the word lunacy."

I don't know why, but this I really like this lore. Also, the fact that the lore speaking about ruining one's soul and mind being put on a purely defensive pair of boots just seems ironic.

Favorite lore for an item: Az
Reason: It's literally a bow that used the 3 runes that we don't even know what their origin is in, order to make a bow. That somehow killed an ancient civilization (maybe the olm).

My favorite item lore, well it’s rather interesting, at least for me.

"Found at the site of the Cataract Mansion, this simple-looking glove is bathed in dark presence. It wracks those who wear it with pain, and instills the belief that the only way to end the pain is not to remove the item, but to inflict that same torment upon all other"

To be quite honest this is rather intriguing,
The thought that the only way to “relieve the pain” is to hurt others a whole lot more. :D

But to be sure, it is a rather interesting one.

Tisaun's Proof

This one is strange, one man who uses a completely useless spear and kills a lot of enemies and defends the city. That's pretty crazy. Who even is this "Tisaun", is the spear called his Proof because it shows he defended an entire city with a useless weapon? How powerful is this "Tisaun" character? Idk, this spear lore is pretty wack if you ask me

Favorite Item Lore: Lament ("When the lost city of Sarnfic sunk beneath the depths, nothing but the bubbles of screams and this single wand surfaced. When used, you can still hear the towns lament."), because I feel like it fits well with the item itself, in addition to interconnecting an endgame-level item to lower leveled locations and quests to create a stream of lore that's referenced throughout the game.

Stratiformis is literally made out of air and that's kind of dope, shout out to the elves.

My favorite lore is from Braker because it feels almost underwhelming, yet adequate.

Braker's Lore: Seems like the name is misspelled a little bit.

 

I love the Alizarin's lore, due to the hint at a potential storyline. It's a bit simplistic, but that's why I like it.

Knucklebones: "An old Nemract saying is engraved along the metal. "A single toss of the knucklebones can make or break a gambling man."
using knucks unironically is a cool kind of meme. Just like real life gambling, it breaks you way more often than it makes you.

My favorite items lore hands down has to to be Pure "Carved directly from the mysterious rock that hit Gavel 50 years ago, this pure white wand glows with cosmic energy unknown." This set of sentences intrigues me so much. Like how it connects to the meteors we see in the ??? quests and if prolong usage of sad wand could make ones go in insane like the 3 brothers. Would prolong usage make the user like yahya in a couple years? Yeah that's why Pure is my favorite item lore

 

We know a lot about Tisaun actually. He's mentioned in a couple of level 60s quests in addition to this spear and the unobtainable Tisaun's Valor chestplate.

Item Lore: Locrian

It's one off the first item lores that I actually read and cared to sort of remember, also it's basically the only thing that I actually know about Skien

Favourite item more would be deltas legacy,:
One of Detlas’ founding buildings was struck by lightning 60 years ago and burnt to the ground, apart from one wooden beam that began to glow. It was fashioned into an exclusive wand for resident mages.

This sounds really cool to me and when I identified the wand I was in deltas and it just really makes me feel in the game and the story.
