    Hello,

Before the 1.19 update, I had a rare wand called "Requiem", which was quite good for my build, however, today I saw that it had become a "Desperado" !

I was wondering if the wand had been replaced, or if I was just the unfortunate victim of a bug ?

    Thanks.

Requiem got changed to this as a result of the changes it received in the elemental revamp, as it was one of the items to go through despite that being reverted. So, it is not a bug. @RazorGuild loves the name Desperado and will tell you about how amazing of a name change it is.

The main difference I see is that it's a tually worth using now (Desperado is a fine name).

But Requiem is outclassed by nepta which is 2 levels lower.

I'm honestly sad cause I always used Requiem over nepta because it wasn't as glassy.

I use a Nepta now and it's not as good. Just the fact that it has no neutral damage almost got me killed yesterday

How? It does significantly more damage, and if you powder your requiem, you should have next to no neutral damage anyway.

What? you don’t neccessarily need neutral damage at all.

As others said, you may prefer to trade a bit of damage for more tankiness.

I never said that you need neutral; quite the opposite in fact. Nepta's lack of neutral damage means that it doesn't do split damage meteors, so you won't need to bypass 3 elemental defences to do the same damage.

And you can also trade damage for tankiness with nepta, as the higher base damage means that you can use items with lower damage bonuses and more health, with similar overall damage. And that's always been the problem; nothing sets requiem apart from nepta in any meaningful way. The only real advantage was the lower requirements, but even that isn't generally an issue because you'll generally put a lot of points into intelligence if you're using either. If not, then why use a water weapon in the first place?
