When I first thought about it I assumed this would be the case, but after thinking about it, I can't think of a quick way to test this.

I would really appreciate an answer from somebody within the content team, one that has been working with the +%sprint duration and +%sprint regen but anybody feel free to let me know your thoughts on this.

Looking at who you are I assume you already have something which adds like 50% sprint duration. So I'll tell you how I'd find it out if I had that.

    1. Look at how long it takes for the sprint bar to regenerate when completely empty without using %sprint duration. (I think it's 20 seconds so ima say 20 seconds for the rest of this post. Not sure though.)

    2. Do this again whilst wearing something that increases sprint duration preferably without sprint regen, but if you can't get that one shaman weapon with sprint duration and no sprint regen so be it. The more sprint duration, the more accurate this is. This is very important (see note underneath)

2.2 If the item has % sprint regen, divide whatever the result of 2 gets by whatever amount of sprint regen you have. (example: if you have 50% sprint regen and 2 resulted in 25 seconds, divide 25 by 1.5, making it ~16.7

    3. If this both comes out at the same time, %sprint duration does effect natural sprint regeneration and if it doesn't, it shouldn't.

Note: If the difference is fairly tiny it's probably because the increase from %sprint regen and the increase from %sprint regen on the base sprint regen are additive. If they are the exact same they are multiplicative and if the difference is big, its uneffected.

If you do the tests and give me the IDs of sprint regen and duration, I'll calculate it for you if you want me too.

That's what I was thinking, the only problem is that I have stuff that increases both stats by a lot, but not one of them D:

    yeah but
I think it should work. (And seeing how long it took to figure out things on Motoko1s damage thread, I don't think we'll be getting any official answer. The only non-sprint regen but sprint duration thing I could find was a lvl 23 Relik which gives negative speed duration. It's a unique and there's only two in the marketplace rn. There's also only -15% sprint duration on it, so it doesn't give alot.
