I would have waited for at least 3-4 months before making this thread since it hasn't been enough time to try the Shaman class.

Anyway, I prefer mage because I like easy mode.
Assassin is pretty fun to play with, Shaman also seems fun to play with (Played with it a little bit in Hero beta)
Archer is a little bit hard to get used to because it uses the left click to start the spell instead of what I'm used to, but I do like it (especially the Escape spell).
Warrior is nice, it's pretty relaxing.

1. Mage: Easy mode wins
2. Assassin/Shaman: The most enjoyable classes
3. Archer/Warrior: I do like them, but nothing too special about them (there are special things about those two classes, i just think of them is "I like them")

Oh, btw, the best class is... i don't know. The above one is just what i prefer, i'll probably choose Mage because it's the best class for noobs new players.

 

For pure dps, it’s archer no competition. Nighthawk is busted and gives archer the best uncontested burst and sustain dps in the game. For self utility, archer/mage are pretty close. Arrow shield is nuts and speed 3 is very strong. But heal is very strong and slows are nice.

Archer is by far and away the best class currently with Nighthawk, without it I think it becomes closer, with Archer, mage and assassin coming pretty close together

Others have already answered what the best class is. So as for my favourite class: it's without a doubt Warrior.
Like Shots said, the most important aspect is fun. Warrior was the first class I tried, and I attempted the other classes after that, but I don't find them nearly as enjoyable or satisfying as Warrior. It feels good to charge headfirst into enemies. It feels good to yeet them into the sky. The sounds and visuals are so full and vibrant. As for the other classes... Ice Snake is a little underwhelming, Escape is slow and dull, Spin Attack just doesn't feel like it does anything. Yes, they're all better spells, but they're not as fun. I don't care if it's not fun.

 

Escape slow and dull? It's best movement ability I love Archer

The results don't really matter at this point considering the poll was flawed to begin with.

 

I'd say assassin rn, but only because superslow melee exists.

Mage is always going to be the best class for beginners but also for veterans since it has good mobility,damage,survivability and it can heal itself.
A good thread to make is whats the most fun class in the game, because then you can have many different options according to how each person likes to play, and funny enough, i think shaman would win that with all the fan combos and weapons it has.

 

Good old Cata Assassin with no agility at all. Nothing beats skillful playing rewarded with good dmg. Definitely Assassin for that matter. Also bc I like fast close combat.

 

Warrior is just sad, no one uses the class even though it’s rly good

 

Its good, but its also not "Good"
Its odd, because while being fun to play, it also doesn't really have a specific play style, beyond beefy.
And its also good enough to be able to solo everything in the game, it just does it the lowest.

 

Basically means it’s the worst when it comes to soloing.

The only playstyle that can solo everything is Tank, which to my opinion is a really boring playstyle but a playstyle best suited for warrior.
P.S. i also only use warrior since it has amazing spells.

Both,its quite effective at damaging and fun to use as well. Throwing mobs up while doing great damage to them is great, cornering a mob by spamming war scream can make you feel godlike. Warrior is just fun.Until you realize that tank warriors are OP
