    Okay, so I beat the eye and I think my opinion on the eye is a little different.

    First, I still think he has too much health, at least in the first part. When he's just a stationary target 3.3 million is just too much. We were a group of five and I think that stage was just too long to be fun all the way through. That being said, although I think the first part went on a little long, once the eye comes out the boss fight is actually awesome, so I guess I see why people like it so much. My opinion on the mini-challenges hasn't changed since I always liked them, especially the falling eye one.

    I still hate the wretches, but I think I understand them a little more now and can give a better suggestion beyond removing them. My new idea is to divide the arena into three lanes and to make it so when a wretch isn't killed, the eye shoots a death beam (looking like the magma cube beam) down two of the three lanes. The effect would be the same, but it would be avoidable which is now what I think its biggest problem is.

    As for the rest of the dungeon, I'm a little more onboard with making the parkour a little more forgiving. Since going with a party is so important to beating the dungeon, I think adding midway checkpoints to at least the fourth but maybe all of the sections would go a long way in making the parkour more fun.

    Finally, I don't like that the portal to Dern is locked behind the dungeon. I get why it is for lore reasons, but I get the feeling that in a few months nobody is going to be group running the dungeon anymore and a lot of players who can't solo it are going to be softlocked out of a lot of content (once Dern is added). My suggestion is adding the ability to bypass the lock by completing the ultimate discovery. Maybe it unlocks a new path to the portal or maybe it just allows you to walk through the dungeon. Either way, this is the change I want to see the most before Dern is released in full.

    Edit: Turns out you can't do the ult. discovery without beating the dungeon so I guess I need to go back to the drawing board on that idea.

    Thanks for pointing that out, I had no idea. I wasn't 100% on that idea anyways so it doesn't really matter but I'll make a note of that.

    I thought the dungeon was cool despite taking ages to beat the boss cuz water mage ):
    but the parkour part was absolutely cancerous

    Ehh, to be honest Wynn needed a boss as difficult as The Eye, I do agree with the wretches, I don’t think they should be removed or altered extremely, the only effect that should be changed is the minions shouldn’t survive the blast when a wretch makes it too the eye. Because when the nukes occur it’s rng whether or not a minion breathes down your neck and kills you.

    Tldr; make the nuke also kill the minions that spawn for a brief moment to reduce rng death by minions happening to spawn/run to you.

    I just beat the Eye solo as well and holy hell that was tense, one of the coolest fights in the game imo.
    Also, it was the first time in my entire life that I used skill pots and still it was really tense (mostly because of the wrenches). I don't think I can do it without skill pots with my incredible -13 in Strengh and Agility and the fact that it's resistant to water and that's almost all my damage.

    Yeah, I would be down for that, but what actually got me three times in a row was the blue wave coming at the exact same time as the wretch attack. I got brought down to 1.5K from the wretch and got hit by the wave at the same time taking out the rest. I think the best solution is to make the attack avoidable like I suggested. Doesn't need to be super easy to avoid, but it needs to be possible.

    Yeah, just cut down the boss health, change the wretches and add a couple checkpoints in the middle of the parkour and I think the dungeon is fixed.*

    *I'm not a dev, I'm just some asshole on the internet so I can't promise these suggestions would actually fix anything.

    Hey you didn’t take long at all, the parkour is a bitch sometimes. But I’m glad you enjoyed the boss now, it’s hell’s fun :)

    there are checkpoints in the parkour but it still sucks

    I was thinking about mid-point checkpoints for the fourth (and maybe the third) part. I don't know the third section too well but for the fourth I would add a checkpoint to the big section around the curve. Again, they aren't really needed, but I think adding more checkpoints would help people enjoy the section a lot more and is a better solution compared to making the jumps easier (they already made the fourth section easier).

    better yet, remove the dumb "look down and get a rough idea of where to jump" and just give us real parkour.

    something I suggested during the hero beta was that to make it easier just simulate "blinking" and very briefly light up all the platforms every few seconds, maybe for .5-1 second each time. Helps people get through it easier and keeps with the eye theme, I dunno

    I actually had a group of five go down to just me and another mage during the boss and holy hell I was sweating so hard in the fight but I managed to beat it. You really shouldn't try a massive group maybe just 1-3 as the boss can occasionally one shot someone. The only problem I have with the dungeon is the fact that you can't cast spells near the boundaries of the platform (for me as an archer) and the wretches sometimes get shielded by the laser, meaning I can't hit them

    I just wish this dungeon is completely optional and let me do the hunters calling.
