Looking For A Guild, I Guess

Ok, I've recently been looking at guilds for a while but I would like to know what perks come with being in a guild. Is it better for me to join one or should I make my own? If you think I should join a guild, give me reasons and post it down below and I may join but IDK. I, so far, have a level 85 warrior with a few level 40's and have been playing for about 13 months now.

so the only real benefits of joining a guild is being in a small community that can help you through you adventure. some guilds have wars over certain territories around the entire map.

Yeah, being in a guild does benefit you especially when it comes to getting some help through some quests and bosses, or even Legendary Island runs where you can run as a guild and get lots of goodies :D However, you should take to mind of some serious and active guilds who war like crazy. In some of these guilds, it is mandatory to attack territories (some even put a minimum monthly war count). Don't be forced or pressured to war and waste a lot of your time getting territories if you don't want to. It does get boring and repetitive over time, but if you're new and interested in guild wars, I recommend you join a guild which wars occasionally but not too often, possibly a guild which doesn't hold many territories on the map. However, if you're looking to just chill and have nothing to do with wars, there are many guilds out there who do specifically that. A little warning though - some guilds might be dead or semi-dead, so if you're looking for a guild with a bright and jovial atmosphere, I suggest you join a few guilds until you find the guild in which people actually talk on the guild chat. This is an MMORPG game at the end of the day, and being anti-social really isn't part of human nature.

Also, definitely do not waste 5LE making a guild. It is not worth it and raising a guild really requires time and experience of guild wars prior to the construction of a new guild. There are many complicated alliances, cultures and sometimes even bad grudges between players and guilds for betrayal and many other reasons. Trust me, don't get into 'guild politics' until you've got a firm grip of warring first. This is where the messy and 'unhealthy' arguments come into play, so I highly recommend you don't go into it unless you really have a strong mentality.
