So I was watching a guide on the new Eldritch Outlook dungoen and noticed a snippet of dialogue:

So I translated this straight away and ended up with this:
"Beidh tú imithe ó mo radharc." (thanks to TheLMiffy1111 for fixing translation)
Now to me that seemed like that the message needed to be translated once more, so I went to my buddy Google Translate and pasted it in, the auto-detect saw that it was Irish and the English format was as follows:
"You will be gone from my sight" (thanks to TheLMiffy1111 for fixing translation)
I suppose this is referring to the player or players fighting the boss, The Eye wanting to get rid of them from his sight.

When killing a Eldritch Outlook Key Guardian, this line of text appears.
Irish:"Beidh mé ag súil leat"
English: "I will expect you"
This is probably the eye watching over you somehow, watching your every move, waiting for you to come into its grasp and destroy you.

 

The eye is from Ireland and no one can convince me otherwise.

Oh yea I looked at this on a wynn discord w some people, ya beat me to posting it lol.

Considering the weird grammar of the translation, and knowing google translate, it might also be simply “Begone from my sight”. I’m assuming it does t have any deeper meaning than referring to the player entering the dungeon as you said.

 

I too assumed that, because if you write "beithtu imithe omo radharc" instead of "beidhtu imithe omo radharc" you get "be gone from sight", and I've checked to see if I mistranslated, no I did not, so whoever was coding the Wynnic might have made an error, spelling errors are common in a beta after all, not sure why it refers it as "sight" instead of "my sight", but doesn't matter over all.

 

I’m guessing that since the tense the eye would use is imperative, there might be some errors there since imperative probably translates weirdly “you will be” -> “be”.
We need to find some Irish people

 

"You will be gone from sight" is more of a statement, while "Be gone from sight" is a command, but overall, it doesn't matter when trying to decode its true meaning
