SPOILER Question About A Journey Beyond

So, I was watching some Youtube videos on the Silent Expanse, and I saw part of the A Journey Beyond quest. In it the blacksmith guy was talking to the party and the player about how the only way to defeat this monster guy was to get some darkness and lightness stuff. Then he showed the five current elements (water, air, fire, thunder, and earth), and then he showed a sixth element, darkness. This had a symbol to go along with it as well. Later on in the quest he showed another element, lightness, that he "put on all the weapons". I was just wondering if these were actually new elements, or just for show in one specific part in this quest. If I had to guess, it would be the ladder, but it would be cool to have them as actual elements. Though, new elements would probably break a lot of stuff.

This is exactly the sort of BS lore I'd expect from a Wynncraft quest. Fits right in with Aldorei's Secret Part II...

The quest says it purifies a weapon, but what if you change weapons?

 

The quest also says that by magicks, all weapons you wield from now on are going to have that purified status.

The moral of the story is, to quote Gabe Crocoduck, "elves are infinite good lmao". It sets up a possible interesting story, and then subverts the interesting story by literally just going with "elves are always right".
